Recently, Rational Ground was invited to speak to a group of activists in the state of Arizona. These concerned parents, teachers and policy makers spent 90 minutes with our team getting the latest info on COVID-19 and learn the latest tactics and strategies on how to get schools back and open.

Speakers included:
Justin Hart, founder of Rational Ground and data expert will walk us through the current state of the virus and the impact of the lockdowns.

A.J. Kay, Arizona mom and published independent writer on all things COVID-19 will join us to talk about messaging and communication. She’ll discuss the critical points and best practices when communicating with school boards and local leaders.

Megan Mansell, district education director responsible for integrating immunocompromised and special populations under ADA/OSHA/IDEA compliance and writing site protocol, also lead accommodations writer. Megan will talk about the best things you can do to satisfy the concerns over a safe re-opening.

Sarah Edmonds, She is a licensed psychologist in private practice in Flagstaff, AZ and single mom of a 16 year old daughter.  Her undergraduate degree was in molecular biology, and she has published papers in the fields of both microbiology and psychology.  In her practice she sees adults and adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, and PTSD.  She’s been working on getting her daughter’s school to reopen since this summer, and recently formed a Facebook group for anyone in Flagstaff interested in getting schools back to in person learning.
